FREE ALBUM: The Civil Wars

I've not listen to them much yet, but what I have listened to I have really enjoyed. They also have a couple of free Christmas songs available on noisetrade.com, which is where I first heard of this Nashville duo.

(UPDATE: In case you haven't heard by now, this group has been nominated for a Grammy this year! Their debut album is superb... this live album is OK. But definitely worth the price (an email address)!

I heard this song on a the KCRW "download of the day" earlier this year and it seems that it has been my favorite song that i have discovered from that podcast in 2010. I found this link for a free download. I don't know much about this artist other than this song rocks and I enjoy her sound.

I love MuteMath! I've seen a lot of bands live and they are better than both U2 and Coldplay--both who put on great shows! This song is a new song and is available for download via Spin Magazine! FREE Concert: Carolina Chocolate Drops

I heard this group on "World Cafe" the other night and immediately went home and looked them up. They were playing the song "Hit Em Up Style" which is an Alicia Keys meets Old Crow Medicine Show meets beat box song! Not much like their other songs, but I'm headed skiing and even their other more traditional music is getting me in the mood to hit the mountains! Enjoy this free concert (with a live version of "Hit Em Up Style") from my new favorite website! This is a soundboard recording too which is really nice! FREE MP3 ... Millons of them!

I just now discovered this site and i have to say it is amazing! What a collection of free music! The live shows are very impressive. I highly recomend spending a few momements searching around. Who knows... there may even be a recording of that concert you went to and would love to re-live!
